WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This paediatric first aid training is approved by OFSTED and conforms with the Early Years Foundation Stage and OFSTED standards (EYFS). Anyone working as a childminder, teacher, or nursery assistant is the perfect candidate for the training. It is a two-day training that makes sure people are competent and prepared to handle any potential paediatric first aid crisis.

CERTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT

A range of teaching strategies, including case studies and films, will be used to ensure you have learnt the skills and information required to perform as a proficient Paediatric First Aider. Delegates will also participate in hands-on exercises in which they will demonstrate CPR and the recovery posture using the equipment provided. At the end of the course, there will be an exam with multiple choice questions.

After successfully completing this course, each delegate will be certified as a responsible First Aider in the workplace. The First Aid Industry Body automatically approves certificates, which have a three-year validity term (FAIB).
